Product Description

Rail shoulder, also called rail iron shoulder, is mainly used to be casted in the concrete ties to fixate elastic rail clips. According to the shape, it can be classified into Single Stem Rail Iron Shoulder and Twin Stems Rail Iron Shoulder. Besides, according to the manufacturing ways, rail shoulder can be divided into 3 types: casting rail shoulder, weld-on rail shoulder and hot forging rail shoulder.

The rail shoulder is embedded in concrete at the time of casting, it's used to grips the clip effectively and provides lateral support to rail. The Rail shoulder is a semi-embedded part cast in the concrete rail ties to fix the elastic rail clip to the base plate.

Common types of rail shoulders available include Cast-in Shoulder and Weld-on Shoulder, both of which are used for the fixing of elastic rail clips. Single Stem Iron Shoulders are typically used in pre-stressed concrete ties, while Twin Stem Iron Shoulders are used in Bi-Block or Twin Block concrete ties.

Quality Control System

Our manufacturing processes are strictly managed under an ISO 9001 certified quality management system. From raw material inspection to finished products, we ensure full compliance with standard procedures:

Raw Material Verification: Before production, we test chemical composition and mechanical properties, requiring full batch documentation.
Batch Testing: Inspectors perform sample sampling and batch testing throughout the manufacturing process to ensure consistent quality.
Physical & Chemical Inspection: We conduct rigorous testing based on specific product requirements; materials that fail to meet standards are rejected.
Technical Guidance: We organize regular quality coordination meetings and provide technical oversight for all semi-finished components to ensure excellence prior to shipment.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the main types of rail shoulders?
Rail shoulders are generally classified into casting, weld-on, and hot forging types. Based on structure, they include Single Stem and Twin Stem designs.
How is a rail shoulder installed?
The shoulder is typically semi-embedded or cast directly into the concrete rail ties during the casting process to provide a secure anchor point for clips.
What is the function of the rail shoulder?
It is designed to grip the elastic rail clip effectively and provide essential lateral support to the rail, ensuring track stability.
Are the products certified for quality?
Yes, all production processes follow ISO 9001 standards, including rigorous testing of chemical and mechanical properties.
Can these shoulders be customized?
Yes, we provide customized rail shoulders based on specific drawings and technical requirements of different railway systems.
What is the annual production capacity?
Our facility has a robust production capacity of approximately 500,000 tons per year to support large-scale railway projects.
